Belgrade Nature Experience

An exceptional opportunity to step into the green maze of the Avala mountain and with each step further get more and more in touch with nature. Whether the leaves on the trees are blooming, changing shape and colour and falling, or the snow covers long barren branches, you will quickly detach from the hectic life in the concrete world and relax your mind and body in the beautiful and calm ambience of this lovely little mountain. An expert guide familiar with all the wildflowers and animals you may encounter while hiking not to mention the stories this mountain hides, will be taking you down upon marked or unmarked (if you chose so) pathways through this vibrant patch of nature. While roaming through the sun-drenched hillsides you will come across an old forgotten Roman mine and springs of fresh drinkable water. Moreover, all the way on the stop list as you descend or ascend the overseer of Belgrade will arise beautiful unexpected viewpoints and historical monuments. The Avala mountain has always been a favorite hiding spot from the noisy city life and the unforgiving tempo of the ever-evolving technological society. While getting showered with the overwhelming bird symphony of many orchestras that reside in treetops just above your head, it will be easy to forget that air ever tasted anything different than this rich mossy smell of old timber. At the end of this walk, in the middle of an old forest awaits you a charming country inn where you will be able to taste authentic Serbian food while resting tired feet and recollecting all the new exhilarating experiences the Avala mountain was kind to grant.
